About Us

​Hi! I’m Alex Hur, high school senior, who has been playing Archery for almost a decade. I was hyperactive as a kid who played various sports from basketball to soccer. I always thought that I would go along well with sports that’d allow me to release the endless energy I have, but everything changed when I started Archery. Rather than feeling frustrated for having to micro-control my movements due to the precise nature of Archery, I soon fell in love with the sport as I realized how my energy could be spent in such delicate manners. Although the process surely wasn’t easy, Archery has since become a huge part of my life and I started to see how it shaped me into a better athlete, student, and person; through the rigorous and consistent practices, I’ve learned the importance of focus, patience, and discipline, which has served me well throughout my academic career and personal relationships. And as I’ve observed similar benefits working for my fellow archers, I’ve decided to launch Archery For All to provide those who cannot easily access archery an opportunity to experience what it's like to shoot. I hope I can be a difference-maker for seeing archery become a more prevalent sport: This way, more people within the youth community could meet this beautiful sport and enjoy the perks that come along with it!
